发展观与伦理道德有着密切的关联性。任何一种发展观都需要与之相适应的伦理支撑和道义支持;任何一种发展观的实践推进都必然要体现出相应的伦理价值导向。对传统发展观与科学发展观进行比较研究,可揭示科学发展观所蕴含的伦理精神、道德原则,所体现的先进伦理文化的发展要求。如何认识和处理发展过程中人与物、人与人、人与自然的关系是科学发展观与传统发展观的根本区别,体现出不同的伦理意蕴。在认识和处理人与物的关系时,科学发展观体现的是以人为本的伦理精神;在认识和处理人与人的关系时,科学发展观体现的是追求公平的伦理精神;在认识和处理人与自然的关系时,科学发展观体现的是和谐共处的生态伦理精神。

Any concept on development is closely related to some ethics and its implementation has its corresponding ethic orientation and support. A comparative study of the traditional concept on development and the scientific concept on development will reveal the latter's connotations of ethic spirit, moral principle and advanced ethic culture. The two different concepts find different expressions in the understanding and handling of the relationship between man and nature, which should be a harmonious one, between man and things, which should be man-centered, and between human beings themselves, which should be based a fair principle.
