老年人心理健康是推动健康老龄化，加快健康中国建设的重要支柱。基于社会认知理论，利用中国老年社会追踪调查的三期数据，综合运用双向固定效应模型、倾向得分匹配和有调节的中介效应模型，实证检验了新媒介接触对老年人抑郁的影响及其机制。研究结果表明：一是新媒介接触显著降低了老年人的抑郁水平，通过Hausman检验及倾向得分匹配控制选择性偏差后，实证结果保持稳健；二是新媒介接触主要通过提高老年人的自评健康来降低其抑郁水平；三是社区支持可正向调节新媒介接触对老年人抑郁的影响，且对自评健康的中介效应也有正向调节作用。研究结论为健康老龄化提供了数字化干预路径与社区协同策略。
Abstract：The mental health of the elderly is a crucial pillar for promoting healthy aging and accelerating the construction of a Healthy China. Based on the social cognitive theory and utilizing the three-wave data from the China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey(CLASS), this study empirically examines the impact and mechanisms of new media exposure on depression among the elderly through a comprehensive application of the two-way fixed effects model, propensity score matching, and moderated mediation analysis. The findings reveal three key insights: First, new media exposure significantly reduces depressive symptoms in the elderly, and the results remain robust after addressing selection bias through Hausman tests and propensity score matching. Second, the depression-alleviating effect of new media exposure is primarily mediated by improved self-rated health among the elderly. Third, community support positively moderates both the direct effect of new media exposure on reducing depression and the mediating role of self-rated health. These conclusions provide digital intervention pathways and community-based collaborative strategies to promote healthy aging.
